The Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro is a window sensor that detects exactly whether your window is open, closed or tilted, for which there must be a tilt angle of at least 5°. It can be easily retrofitted to the window. The sensor is simply attached to the sash frame. In addition, a small magnet must be installed near the sensor on the window frame.
With the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro you can integrate other binary sensors such as NTC contacts, micro switches or flood sensors into your Z-Wave system. With the potential-free input of the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro, it is also possible for the sensor to integrate other sensors into your Z-Wave system, for example. For this purpose, the binary sensors are connected to the potential-free input of the sensor. In addition to sensors, buttons can also be connected at this point, which, for example, start a scene in the Z-Wave center.Should your Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro fail you, the heart of it - the circuit board - can be easily replaced without removing the sensor. This means you can stick the device to the window frame and just replace the circuit board.
