This is a one of a kind Armenian Carpet with an Antique design that features five central medallions encompassed by octagons.  This pattern represents the "Sun" for Armenians. the main border is decorated with a star/sun-like pattern which is a very traditional Armenian pattern. This rug was handwoven from natural Wool. The rich colors, red, yellow, blue, green, and orange are obtained from natural and vegetable dyes.
